Welcome to the Miller 8 Pack soon to be 10!

Welcome to our Family

My name is Courtney and my handsome husband is BJ, we are in our mid thirties, we live in Cheney, WA and have 6 beautiful children.  We Love Jesus and love people, we love game nights, and hockey games, and dates with each other.
BJ works for an Insurance company and loves his job. He constantly says how not only the people he works for are a joy to be around, but that the foundations of the company, how they take care of their customers, and employees is just amazing. I love that he is happy doing what he loves, and that it provides for our whole big growing family. He loves the Green Bay Packers and encouraging people into Missions, and serves on the Missions Team at our church. He is a bit of a geek, loves star wars, comics, and collecting and researching old things, baseball cards, stamps, coins, money. He is a hard worker, and willing to do anything for anyone and for that I am blessed. BJ has shared the gospel on every continent in the world, (Minus Antarctica cause only penguins and scientists are there.)

I, Courtney have my own home based business with a company called It Works, we sell health and wellness products, ( www.millerfamily.itworks.com (shameless plug)) so I work from home and have a whole team that I love dearly, my IW family is a huge blessing.  I am passionate about being a mom, I  love being a mom, I love all things that have to do with my kids, except potty training, that is one job that is not my favorite can we all say AMEN? haha. I love seeking out the gifts and talents that are popping up in my kiddos and giving them the avenues to pursue those talents…  I love serving the women of my church and community whenever the needs pop up in women’s ministry, also have a heart to help counsel ladies through things like domestic violence and sexual abuse. I love our small town, the families, the schools and our church. I really feel blessed. I enjoy crafting, scrapbooking (but lets be honest, I do not have time), I am known to start a intense project very late at night after my kiddos are in bed, and staying up way later than I should. Hence the need for lots of coffee, have I told you yet, I love, love, coffee! Jesus and Coffee are what get me through the day!

Our oldest is Brodin who is 8, he is very smart, very much a leader and can take apart anything and put it back together. His gifting is engineering for sure.  He assumes the oldest brother role in every aspect, including attempting to be the boss. We love his heart of compassion for others, and that he is best friends with everyone.

Our second is Ella who is 7, she is so very sweet and loving. She is a quiet soul, her winter mornings are spent eating her breakfast on the heater vent because she is always cold even in warm jammies. She is the give your shirt off her back kind of person, anything that someone else wants that she has or has access to she's happy to share or give. She already has an amazing singing voice like her daddy so I think she would love voice lessons. I love her excitement for everything in life.

Our third is London who is 6 this October, she is our funny one, she loves and I mean loves to make people laugh. She exudes joy and happiness, she has very few upset times, she is too busy being silly.  She is adamant about choosing her own clothes and walking her own path, she loves to research new jokes to tell to her teachers and is smart beyond her age… like crazy smart! I know she got this gift from her daddy! haha

Our fourth is Colton who is 4, this boy is the sweetest, kindest kid, he wears his heart on his sleeve so is easy to have his feelings hurt. He loves without question, and like his big brother Brody he is best friends with everyone he comes in contact with. He is also more introverted than any of our other kiddos, he is totally content playing by himself  but loves his friends and siblings too, he really enjoys and needs his one on one time with us. This kiddo loves to play with trucks and cars, anything that moves really!

Our fifth is Paisley who is 3, she is our spicy one, she is very determined and laser focused on the way she would like things done. We found great success when we started giving her choices, and stopped caring if she was in three skirts, rainboots, and wearing a scarf in the  middle of summer…haha! She loves to cuddle, and loves to dance, she plays house all the time and screams, “mom!!!!!” When I respond with, “Yes??” She says, “No mom I just attending!!!!” Which means she is pretend playing. She looks forward to going to school which is sunday school on sundays!

Our youngest and sixth child is Harper, who is 17 months, its hard to see all of her personality at such a young age, but she sure is joyful.  Harper makes her voice heard in a house full of kids and is very loud… her favorite thing to do right now is yell, “MORE!!!!!” This is when she wants me, food, someone to pick her up… its how she gets the attention focused back to her. hehe. Her other favorite word is no. “Harper do you want to eat? “”No!”” ( As she grabs the food and shoves it in to her mouth.)  We aren’t sure if No means Yes or No at this point!
Our Two Burundian boys are already written on our hearts and I cannot wait to update this section once we have them in our home! Thank you for getting to know us, and supporting us in anyway!
